"Historical sense and poetic sense should not, in the end, be contradictory, for if poetry is the little myth we make, history is the big myth we live, and in our living, constantly remake."- Robert Penn Warren

Georgia Studies is an incredible, meaningful, and thrilling course on the geography, government, economy, and history of the great state of Georgia. This virtual classroom is designed to help all students navigate through the course content, interact with fellow students and teachers, provide resources for remediation and enrichment, and, ultimately, master the course performance standards.

Use the links below or on the site's page list to access content and resources for each unit. The "Unit 01" page contains introductory material, including the state performance standards, the course syllabus, and links to free software that may be downloaded in order to use the files on this website (i.e., unit presentation and audio files).

If there are any questions regarding this virtual classroom, please email your requests to:

Enjoy the journey! Be Rossville!
